England Photo Journal

(Photos by Thomas Van Hollebeke and Me)

Our three week stay in England has come to an end and what a time we had. From the cities of London and Bath to the small seaside town of Crackington, we met wonderful people, saw beautiful places and got to reunite with many lovely faces. Highlights: tea and pints with friends in London, hiking the sloping green walk ways on the coast of Cornwall, biking down (not so much up) the hills of Bath. Cornish pasties, fast drivers, seeing a blue sky, and all the gracious people along the way.

Sweaterpants

I bought these pants off a guy on the street in London and can't seem to take them off. They are a thick (almost bulkey) knit, and not only are they warm and oh so cozy i also feel extremely festive in them. We just arrived in Paris where we are going to spend the Holidays in a cute little apartment on a lively street.

Iceland Photo Journal

After spending four blistering cold days in Iceland i am not only amazed by the rugged landscape but also by the beautiful citizens. Anyone who can keep their spirits up with only four hours of dusk light in the winter needs to be commended. A country of beautiful dreamers.

Sunlight stalkers

Found In Reykjavik Iceland: The perfect paper thin lambskin gloves

We just ended a 4 day stay in the blistering cold city of Reykjavik searching all the while for a sliver of daylight. Our first day was spent splashing around in the blue lagoon, and the rest wondering the charming city of Reykjavik. I was crushed on the last night when our northern lights tour got canceled due to a blizzard. I will have to return in the summer, when the daylight doesn't end.

Boutique Abroad

  • Imagine finding a webpage full of beautiful exotic clothing, accessories, and home goods from all around the world. Imagine getting a look inside the markets of Istanbul, Milan, Marrakech, and shopping on little islands like Capri and Saint Barths, without having to leave your desk. Imagine finding pieces that only exist in one village halfway across the world, and wearing it around your town or city the very next day.

Travel with me as I try on scarfs in Venice, check out dresses in Madrid's tiny marketplaces and test drive heels in Paris. A traveler at heart, who loves and has obsessed over fashion since the age of three, I want to wear everything the world has to offer, and as I do, I want to share it with you. I'll tear through markets all over Europe, Asia, South and Central America, seeking out pieces so amazing that I have no choice but to find room for them in my already packed-to-the-brim travel bag.

Boutique Abroad will offer a sale on each piece, for a limited time. They will be packaged and shipped to you, usually from the exact location they are purchased. You will literally have an inside view to the best garmets from hundreds of markets around the world. Follow my blog, Boutique Abroad, to find your fashion escape and to have a bit of vacation sent to you. Any fashion fantasies or specific requests? Leave a comment about them before I reach my next destination and they could become the next hot items up for grabs.
